Miss Dupuis
Hi Everyone! This is me. I have a mom, a dad, a brother, Darrel, and a sister, Allison, a brother-in-law, Mark, and a niece, Norah. I am originally from Sudbury, Ontario, but I have called many places, like Guelph and Georgetown, home.
My early years of school were spent in Sudbury. From Kindergarten to Grade 6 I attended (the now closed) St. Anthony School. Grade 7 and 8 were spent at St. Francis Catholic School. My high school years were passed at Lockerby Composite School. From there I ventured south to Guelph. I attended the University of Guelph from 1995 - 1999, and I earned a Bachelor's degree in Plant Biology. After that, I attended Nipissing University to earn my Bachelor of Education degree.
My teaching career began at in 2000 at Stewarttown Middle School. I spent three wonderful years there, teaching science, language arts, mathematics and art.
During my time outside of school, I love to do many things. Scrapbooking, painting, drawing, and reading are some of my favourite pasttimes. I am also a musician. I started playing the saxophone when I was 12, and I continue to play to this day.
I also love to play with photo software. You can often see me around the school with my camera. I like to record memories and share them with my class and the school. I also like to use technology in my lessons. For extra fun (and practice), I like to cut heads off of people and put them on animal bodies- I like to see what I can come up with. Photoshop is very entertaining.
